It's called cholinergic urticaria, and allergies have nothing to do with it. I bet you are most likely a young man in your mid-teens to late 20s - that is the age group most often affected, although it can affect women and other age groups as well, just not as often. it is a physical form of chronic hiving, caused by a rise in core body temperature. This can happen with passive warming (like being in a too-warm room), from strong emotions such as anger or embarrassment, with exercise/sweating.
"Cholinergic urticaria results from a rise in core body temperature. It occurs with exercise, sweating, and passive warming, as well as elevated air temperatures. The rash of cholinergic urticaria is smaller than classic urticaria, and itching may occur without the presence of wheals. It is typically diagnosed by inducing sweating, either with exercise or immersing the hand in hot water. " (from www.chronichives.com)
Cholinergic urticaria is easily recognizable by the fact the symptoms go away rapidly once you cool down. Hives, if present, are usually very small. Be aware that cholinergic urticaria can be dangerous - for example, if you get into a hot car and do not get the temperature down soon, the hives can worsen to the point that you can go into anaphylactic shock. Consult a doctor who specializes in chronic urticaria (usually an allergy/immunology specialist).
Reply:Whatcha Eaten?
Reply:Sounds like u have an inter infection in ur skin. My skin is doing the same thing and I thought it was food allergy or a bug/spider bite. I am allergic to alot of things but what u just mention doesn't seem like an allergy reaction. If I was u I'd be seeing the doctor really soon.It can make u sicker.
Reply:sounds like you might have urticaria

Reply:I would say that you're having skin irritation (wheals and whelps) and palm sweats from anxiety. If this happens when you get nervous, try St. John's Wort. It's an over-the-counter herb that calms the nerves. Take benedryl, an antihistamine, try not to get overheated which will make it worse. Drink lots of fluids.
